Andrew (Andy) Hancock is an award-winning professional photographer currently located in the Midwest and based out of Indiana. He is a 2003 graduate of Texas A&M University (Journalism) and an alumni of the prestigious Eddie Adams Workshop.
He has won over 40 awards for his photography and multimedia work. In doing so, Andrew has developed a reputation as a passionate and creative photographer with a work ethic that can be matched by few.
Andrew is a regular contributing photographer for Sports Illustrated magazine. He has also been sent on assignments by The New York Times, Associated Press and Stern.
In newsprint, his work also has appeared in most every major market paper such as the Washington Post, Seattle Times, USA Today, Houston Chronicle, Chicago Tribune and the San Francisco Chronicle to name a few. Beyond print, his work also has appeared on ABC News, CBS.com, and CNN.com. His work has also been printed globally in magazines such as Sports Illustrated China and Cosmopolitan magazine in Australia.
Commercial clients include Purdue University, Roadworks MFG, Veep Races LLC, Huntington University, Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and Bushnell Strategic Communications.
Andrew is available for any editorial, sports or commercial assignment. He is available for travel and able to remote transmit on a deadline. He is well versed in remote cameras, location and studio lighting. He also is trained and capable in the shooting, editing and production of various multimedia platforms including HD video.
